Come enjoy the Faerie Communities of Aullwood, a series of beautifully crafted faerie neighborhoods installed along the Birds, Flight, and Wrights Trail near the Marie S. Aull Education Center. Built by long-time volunteers Judi Hill, Janie Gehman and Kathy Anderson with guidance from Aullwood’s Executive Director Alexis Faust, each of these delightful communities contains a very small hidden animal. Pick up an entry form at the center desk and and find the first animal in The Library at Aullwood's Gift Shop. Next, head outside to the nearby Birds, Flight and the Wrights Trail, taking a left and looking for the first community along the trial. Look carefully to find the animal that's located in each community. All animals are in plain sight; you will not need to touch or move anything to see them! As you find each one, write its name down next to the community where you found it. Finally, bring all your answers back to the Aullwood Gift Shop to receive a faerie sized prize! Members of Aullwood and National Audubon Society are admitted to this exhibit at no cost; nonmembers pay regular Aullwood general admission fees.
