A visit to Aullwood is certain to delight scouts of any age with a rich, fun, hands-on learning experience. Scouting programs are tailored to individual group needs and can include overnight experiences, badge programs, service projects, and more.

What’s the best way to enjoy all that Aullwood has to offer your scout group? Spend the night! Your overnight visit can include night hikes, games, badge-specific activities, movies, live animal sessions, farm chores, and more! Groups can visit the Center and Farm and sleep in the nature center auditorium. Come prepared to have a unique and unforgettable experience!
Scout overnights generally begin at 7:00 p.m. and last until 10:30 a.m. the following day. There is some flexibility regarding these times. Scout groups are responsible for arranging for their meals. A kitchen is available. Cost begins at $20 per scout and $10 per chaperone.

There is a wide variety of service projects available to scouts, depending on their interests and ability level. Whole groups of scouts can participate in a large activity together, or individual scouts can plan a smaller project. In the past, service projects have included building boardwalks, removing invasive species, helping with farm chores, and more! For inquiries about service projects, contact Aullwood’s Scout Coordinator Tara Pitstick, who will connect you with an Aullwood staff member with expertise in your area of interest to help plan your project.
