Help create specialized habitat for the Northern Bobwhite Quail! These beloved birds require some very special woodland edges and we will be planting young trees, shrubs, grasses and wildflowers to attract Bobwhite Quail back on our farm. The native plants also provide food and shelter for other birds and pollinators, such as bees and butterflies. We may also remove non-native invasive plants such as bush honeysuckle and garlic mustard, which keep native plants from thriving in their habitats. Plants, gloves and trowels provided. After your hard work, bring a sack lunch and explore Aullwood on by yourself or with friends or family - your admission fee will be waived. This event will be at Aullwood Farm, 9101 Frederick Pike, Dayton OH 45414.
