Join us for this fun fall activity using gourds to create your own silly chicken, while learning some seriously fun chicken facts! Gourds will be pre-painted, but you will add dots and create the feet, beak, eyes and other accessories. While your project is drying, you'll get a special guided tour for an up close and personal visit with Aullwood’s chickens. Perhaps you’ll gather some eggs or hold one of our chickens! You must pre-register for this program, and registration is limited. Click REGISTER NOW on the page or visit http://store.aullwood.org to sign up. We use registration to assign staff, so please sign up early; events with low registration may be cancelled to free up resources. This event is $25 per group (8 people or less) for members of Friends of Aullwood, National Audubon Society, and ANCA affiliated organizations with membership card or receipt. Non-members attending pay $30 per group (8 people or less). Each group will create one silly chicken. Participants must be age 9 and up; participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Meet in the Aullwood Farm Discovery Center auditorium at 9101 Frederick Pike, Dayton Ohio. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start of the program; the event starts promptly at the scheduled start time and ends promptly at the scheduled end time. Questions?
