Slow Birding Walk

Location Details
1000 Aullwood Road, Dayton, 45414, OH

Join us to learn about the art of slow birding and the movement for a more thoughtful way to bird watch! Birding is one of the most popular hobbies in the world, and on one side of the birding spectrum, birders will spend hours online researching 'hot spots' and chasing species for their 'life list'. The other half enjoy it through a more relaxed and less competitive way, appreciating the little things in our common year round feeder birds. Learn about this 'slow' movement and how to get out and have more successful birding days, or just learn how to keep your home safe for birds while attracting new species to your yard on this walk with Environmental Educator Sam Romeo.
You must pre-register for this walk and registration is limited; sign up by clicking REGISTER NOW on this page or by visiting https://aullwood.audubon.org/SlowBirding instead.
