At the Outdoor Classroom at Aullwood Farm, we will read the super cute and humorous story “Insects Are My Life” by Megan McDonald. Then we will use insect nets to search for a few cool insects as well as view some specimens. Walk over our farmyard to look for the Insect Box! Can you find it? Come and join the search!

Preregistration is not required for this event. Meet in the lobby of the Farm Discovery Center at 9101 Frederick Pike, Dayton OH 45414; we will walk to the Outdoor Classroom. You may wish to apply bug spray beforehand. This event is free for members of Friends of Aullwood, National Audubon Society, and ANCA affiliated organizations with membership card or receipt. Non-members attending pay regular Aullwood admission, free for children 3 and under, $8.00 for children 4 to 12, $12.00 for adults 13 to 64, and $10.00 for seniors age 65 and over, active duty military members and veterans with military ID.
