Native Plants Events

Go Native with Aullwood Audubon!

Native plants do more than look beautiful — they bring landscapes to life. By providing essential food and shelter, native plants support birds and wildlife all year long, boost biodiversity, and attract natural predators that help keep pests in check.

Because they’re perfectly adapted to local soil and climate, native plants need less water, fertilizer, and pesticides, making them a smart choice for sustainable, low-maintenance landscapes. They also help reduce erosion, filter stormwater runoff, and fight climate change by capturing carbon.

The result? Healthier ecosystems that benefit birds, wildlife, people, and the planet!

At Aullwood, you can explore the world of native plants through hands-on learning experiences — and even purchase native plants to bring these benefits home to your own landscape.
